Life Skills for Stage 4/5

Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.

Interpreting time
Relate times to personal events
  • Identify when an activity will occur

  • Recognise what time of day an activity will occur

  • Respond to questions about when familiar activities occur

Organise personal events
  • Create a personal schedule

  • Identify days, weeks and months to organise personal events

  • Associate activities with days, weeks and months

  • Communicate dates for events of personal significance

Manage personal time
  • Identify time associated with personal events

  • Plan personal time for a range of activities

  • Use knowledge of time to inform decisions
