Online HSC exams
To support schools and students to prepare for online HSC exams, we have created videos showcasing the features and tools available in the online exam platform.

These videos provide a walkthrough of the interface and features of the online HSC exams including accessibility features such as enlarging text and changing background colours.
Online exam equipment
Students are expected to have:
- a desktop or laptop computer with the NESA lockdown browser installed
- wired headphones to listen to audio stimulus for questions (no Bluetooth)
- a wired or wireless physical keyboard
- a pointing device such as a mouse for navigation
- a NESA approved calculator (if applicable).
The latest version of the NESA lockdown browser is available from Schools Online.
Sample online exams
Schools can enrol students in a sample exam via Schools Online. Students can become familiar with the look, feel and features of an online exam by sitting a sample HSC exam at school using the login provided by the school.
