Implementation from 2024
The new English K–10 Syllabus (2022) is to be implemented from 2024 and replaces the English K–10 Syllabus (2012).
School sectors are responsible for implementing syllabuses and are best placed to provide schools with specific guidance and information on implementation given their understanding of their individual contexts.

applies phonological, orthographic and morphological generalisations and strategies when spelling words in a range of writing contexts
Loading single-Loading words into Loading as a strategy for spelling
Segment Loading into syllables and phonemes as a strategy for spelling
Loading when to use Loading to spell 2-syllable Loading and apply this when spelling
Spell high-frequency base words with taught Loading graphs, Loading , Loading , Loading and quadgraphs
Explain that the consonant trigraphs, –tch and –dge, can end a base word immediately following a short vowel and apply this when spelling
Spell taught high-frequency Loading
Use Loading for taught Loading
Use spelling Loading when adding plural-marking Loading
Use spelling conventions when adding Loading -marking suffixes
Spell Loading ending in the suffix –er to indicate a person
Use the comparative and superlative suffixes –er and –est
