K–10English K–10 Syllabus (2022)
The new English K–10 Syllabus (2022) is to be implemented from 2024 and replaces the English K–10 Syllabus (2012).
School sectors are responsible for implementing syllabuses and are best placed to provide schools with specific guidance and information on implementation given their understanding of their individual contexts.

forms legible joined letters to develop handwriting fluency

uses digital technologies to create texts
Understand that legible handwriting is consistent in size and spacing and can support learning
Apply appropriate pressure when joining letters
Join letters when writing familiar words
Join letters using consistent size and spacing to develop Loading
Sustain the NSW Foundation Style cursive to facilitate fluency and legibility across a Loading
Use knowledge of the keyboard layout and functions to type texts
Position a chosen device in a way that facilitates efficient and sustained text creation
Search, filter, select, download and save relevant digital information
Monitor goals that build on typing accuracy and rate
Use word-processing program functions or Loading to draft and revise texts
Select and insert visual, print and audio elements into texts
