Content
Year 12 – Standard 2
Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.
Recognise and use language representing quantities
Use the digits 0 to 9 to represent a range of numbers
Identify where whole numbers are used in everyday contexts
Classify numbers as odd or even, positive or negative, and by number of digits
Count using different strategies
Order and compare numbers
Use ordinal terms in everyday contexts
Recognise factors and multiples of numbers
Identify and interpret negative numbers in a range of contexts
Recognise positive and negative numbers on a number line
Calculate using positive and negative numbers
Round whole numbers
Recognise patterns in the built and natural environment
Describe number patterns
Recognise and extend patterns of shapes or numbers
