Recognise and simplify ratios
  • Use Loading  to compare 2 or more quantities measured in the same units

  • Identify and express one part of a ratio as a Loading  of the whole

  • Solve a variety of real-life problems involving rates

Interpret and construct distance–time graphs from authentic data
  • Interpret distance–time Loading  made up of straight-line segments with a negative, zero or positive slope
