K–10Mathematics K–10 Syllabus (2022)
The new Mathematics K–10 Syllabus (2022) is to be implemented from 2024 and replaces the Mathematics K–10 Syllabus (2012).
School sectors are responsible for implementing syllabuses and are best placed to provide schools with specific guidance and information on implementation given their understanding of their individual contexts.

Stage 3
- MAO-WM-01
develops understanding and fluency in mathematics through exploring and connecting mathematical concepts, choosing and applying mathematical techniques to solve problems, and communicating their thinking and reasoning coherently and clearly
- MA3-DATA-01
constructs graphs using many-to-one scales
- MA3-DATA-02
interprets data displays, including timelines and line graphs
Interpret side-by-side column graphs for 2 Loading
Interpret data on a timeline using the given scale
Interpret and compare different displays in terms of the shape of the distribution, including the Loading and the most frequent value (Loading )
Interpret Loading representations found in digital media and in factual texts
Identify sources of possible Loading in representations of data in the media (Statistical reasoning)
Identify misleading representations of data in the media
