K–10English K–10 Syllabus
The new English K–10 Syllabus (2022) is to be implemented from 2024 and replaces the English K–10 Syllabus (2012).
School sectors are responsible for implementing syllabuses and are best placed to provide schools with specific guidance and information on implementation given their understanding of their individual contexts.

Stage 4
- EN4-URC-01
identifies and explains ways of valuing texts and the connections between them
Understand how a Loading addresses its Loading through patterns of textual elements, such as structure, choice of language, Loading archetypes and settings, and apply these patterns in own Loading
Loading how texts can participate in larger, established patterns of Loading , purpose, Loading and tone by exhibiting and challenging Loading , and experiment with conventions in own texts
Explore particular genres to Loading ways they may be adapted to different Loading and Loading , or refreshed by combining with other genres, and experiment with these in own texts
Analyse how texts can draw on elements of other texts to enrich meaning
Understand how and why texts can be adapted, appropriated or transformed for different Loading , purposes and Loading , and experiment with adaptations, Loading and transformations in own work
Understand how texts from all modes and media can serve different personal, social and cultural purposes according to their form and context
Loading how thematic and stylistic qualities of texts contribute to the ways they can be valued in different contexts
