Identity, health and wellbeing
Changes and factors can promote a positive identity
  • Examine life changes and develop management strategies

  • Investigate products and resources to manage changes associated with puberty

  • Examine reliable sources of health information to seek help and advice

  • Investigate how family, Loading , peers, media, education and place can impact actions, influencing Loading , health and Loading 

  • Explain strategies that enhance a positive sense of identity and support health and wellbeing

  • Explain how personal strengths can support the management of challenges

  • Investigate Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and identify their contributions to community

Informed decisions and actions influence health and wellbeing
  • Investigate the impact active and sedentary lifestyles have on health and wellbeing and devise strategies to maintain a physically active lifestyle

  • Engage in outdoor activities and evaluate the benefits to learning and wellbeing

  • Propose a personal plan to increase engagement with the outdoors

  • Investigate nutritional information for foods and drinks that reflect the Australian Government Dietary Guidelines to develop strategies that promote and maintain health and wellbeing

  • Investigate nutritional information and medicinal uses for bush foods and explain how they can improve health and Cultural wellbeing using Tier 2 and Tier 3 vocabulary
