Life Skills for Stage 4/5

Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.

The ancient world: ancient societies

Historical context: Ancient societies existed a very long time ago and they look different to the societies we have today. We can learn about ancient societies through stories, artefacts or sites.

This focus area aligns with:

The following ancient societies can be explored in this focus area. Teachers can choose to focus on one or more of these societies:

  • Ancient Egypt 
  • Ancient India 
  • Ancient China 
  • Ancient Greece 
  • Ancient Rome
