Life Skills for Stage 4/5

Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.

Art making: Artworld concepts
Artist
  • Engage in art making experiences

  • Explore personal experiences, ideas and interests as inspiration for art making

  • Explore how to use materials, techniques and/or processes to communicate ideas

Artwork
  • Represent ideas in artworks

  • Use materials and techniques, in a range of 2D, 3D and/or 4D art forms

  • Recognise how artworks communicate to audiences in art making

World
  • Recognise the world as a source of ideas in art making

  • Make artworks that communicate ideas or experiences of the world

Audience
  • Consider how audiences interact with artworks

  • Make and/or display artworks to communicate with an audience
