Life Skills for Stage 4/5

Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.

Appreciation
Context
  • Audience etiquette in response to performance

  • The language of dance appreciation

  • Personal experiences and Loading  influence the way people experience dance

  • The purpose of dance varies across societies and Loading 

  • Experience dance as an art form and in other cultural, social or personal contexts

  • Engage with dance from Loading , following appropriate cultural Loading 

  • Express a preference for a Loading  or dance Loading 

  • Find and select in-person or online dance performances to attend or access

The dancing body
  • Recognise that the choreographer makes choices related to the dancer(s) on stage
