Life Skills for Stage 4/5

Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.

Australian food practices and cuisine
Customary, historical and contemporary food practices
  • Recognise food practices in familiar contexts

  • Engage in social and cultural food practices

  • Explore the Cultural significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ customary food Practices

  • Identify ways in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ customary food Practices have been shared
