A multimedia specialisation is an opportunity for schools to draw from a range of multimedia fields to broaden student understanding or prepare students for further study of the application of multimedia. In addition to the content outlined, the knowledge and skills applied during a project may be drawn from the learning experienced in other focus areas.
Specialised fields of multimedia could include:
- animation and visual effects
- audio and visual production and sound design
- game design and development
- interactive media and user experience (UX) or user interface (UI) design
- multimedia programming (authoring)
- other school-developed option.
