7–10Communication Technology 7–10 Syllabus (2025)

The study of Communication Technology in Years 7–10 enables students to:

• become safe, skilful and responsible users of technologies to design and communicate through the production and management of graphic or multimedia solutions

• apply knowledge and skills to enhance creativity when designing, planning, producing and presenting graphic or multimedia solutions

• develop an understanding of the interrelationships between graphic or multimedia presentation, technologies, society and the environment

• apply knowledge and skills of design to produce and evaluate graphic or multimedia solutions using a range of technologies.
