Content
Life Skills
Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.
Respond to language relating to time
Recognise and use language that relates to time
Identify and order days of the week, months of the year and seasons
Recognise units of time and common abbreviations: seconds (secs or s), minutes (mins or min), hours (hrs or h)
Order units of time
Recognise equivalent units of time
Convert between units of time
Describe everyday activities using appropriate units of time
Identify devices commonly used to measure time
Estimate and measure the passage of time
Distinguish between morning and afternoon or ‘am’ and ‘pm’
