Course description
Enterprise Computing 11–12 provides students the opportunity to develop an understanding of the function and purpose of digital tools and processes, and the importance of data in enterprise information systems. Students develop an understanding of how computing technologies can be harnessed to provide effective user interaction and efficient access to information that supports commercial, industrial, social and environmental initiatives.
What students learn
Through the study of Enterprise Computing 11–12, students learn to:
- evaluate how data is safely and securely collected, stored, manipulated and used when developing enterprise computing systems
- explain the social, ethical and legal implications of the application of enterprise computing systems on the individual, society and the environment
- apply tools and resources to design, develop and evaluate enterprise computing systems.
