School sectors are responsible for implementing syllabuses and are best placed to provide schools with specific guidance and information on implementation given their understanding of their individual contexts.

Teachers select at least ONE option from:
- Ancient Egypt
- Ancient India*
- Ancient China*
- Ancient Greece
- Ancient Rome
At least ONE depth study option to be chosen from a non-western option (marked with an *).
