The new Agriculture Life Skills 11–12 Syllabus (2026) is to be implemented from 2028 and will replace Agriculture Life Skills Stage 6 (2010).

Life Skills
Through collaborative curriculum planning, it may be decided that Life Skills outcomes and content are the most appropriate option for some students with intellectual disability.
Explore different types of agricultural animals
Identify the external body parts of one or more agricultural animals
Identify the function of an external body part in an agricultural animal
Identify the function of an internal body system in an agricultural animal
Identify daily care requirements for agricultural animals
Identify suitable enclosures or space requirements for agricultural animals
Identify ways to care for agricultural animals in line with animal welfare guidelines and regulations
