Customary, historical and contemporary food practices
  • Investigate how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples share Knowledges about food and sustainable Practices

  • Discuss the Cultural significance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ customary food Practices

  • Describe historical influences on Australian food practices, including introduced foods, the development of agriculture and the role of migration

  • Explain how changes in Australian society, including the nature and patterns of work, influence food selection, preparation and production
