Content
Year 12
For students studying English Life Skills, the elective Everyday heroes provides opportunities to recognise individuals who have made a worthwhile contribution to the community. Students may explore texts such as feature articles, reality television, documentaries, short prose fiction, photography, artworks and digital texts to recognise the qualities, motivations and decisions of people striving to improve the lives of those around them.
The content below aligns to the content of the Elective focus areas in English Studies 11–12 and has been provided as a suggestion only. Further content can also be used to address these focus areas and meet the individual needs of students as appropriate.
